10 Reasons Why You Need a Vitamix in Your Life
I recently took the plunge and purchased my first ever Vitamix. I kid you not – it has changed my life and I cannot fathom why I didn’t bite the bullet sooner. I guess hindsight is a valuable thing! I get it, buying a Vitamix is a big investment, and therefore a big decision. But let me assure you – it is worth every penny.
Let me tell you why.
1. It’s incredibly versatile
There isn’t much that a Vitamix cannot do. It makes delicious smoothies, ice creams, soups, wellness shots, whipped cream, nut butters, dressings – do you need me to continue?
2. The textures are unbeatable
One of the key things that differentiates the Vitamix from its competitors is its unbeatable textures. This jumps out at me especially when making smoothies – it’s a super fine consistency and makes the food taste so much better!
3.It’s super easy to clean
As every bullet owner knows, getting that machine clean is a mission in itself. With a Vitamix, you don’t need to take apart lots of pieces and put it back together, nor do you have to spend precious minutes hand-cleaning the seal. You simply add some soap and warm water and run it for a minute. Good to go!
4. It’s built to last
Whilst there isn’t technically a lifetime guarantee, these machines are made to last for years and years. As a popular commercial choice, it’s built to be used on a daily basis, and not to slow down.
5. It’s incredibly low maintenance (I wish my boyfriend was the same)
Vitamix blades never get blunt and don’t need replacing. This is because the blades are rounded steel, which also work to pulverise the food, giving that amazingly fine texture. The dull blades also mean that there’s very low chance of you cutting yourself!
6. Vitamix customer service is outstanding
The customer service at Vitamix is incredible, and they are well known for it. The only other company with which I’ve experienced such positive results isYoung Living. If you do need to contact them, the wait time is short, the representatives are helpful and they always pay for two-way shipping.
7. It looks damn fine on my counter
My Vitamix is aesthetically on point. Would this be enough for me to spend so much on an appliance? Well no, not by itself, but it’s definitely a reason why I love it! It has also helped reduce the clutter in my kitchen – I love the sexy beast.
8. It encourages a healthy lifestyle
We all know that if it’s easy to do something, you’re more likely to do it. This is especially true for eating healthily. In this regard, I think of my Vitamix as my secret weapon – it makes meal planning really easy, and I genuinely enjoy making healthy food like soups, protein icecream and smoothies.
9. It’s a money saving machine
Yep, I went there. It’s a bold call, I know. But consider this – your Vitamix is a one-off purchase that will last a lifetime. Think of how many frappes, smoothies, winter soups, dressings and nut butters you will buy over that time? See what I mean? You can thank me later.
10. It’s a source of pure joy
What it really boils down to is that my Vitamix is a source of joy in my life. Long gone are the days of noisy, inefficient blenders and chunky, half-blended smoothies.
