5 Vegan Breakfast Recipes You Must Try

I’ve been receiving a lot of messages from you guys asking for vegan breakfast ideas. So, I thought I would share a few with you. Breakfast is definitely my favourite meal of the day (and the most important IMO to get your metabolism up and running).

So …..what do I eat for breakfast? Here are some of my absolute favourite recipes that have been created by other amazing women!

Acai Bowl With Toasted Buckwheat Granola - Madeleine Shaw

I love starting my day with an Acai bowl. Acai is praised as a superfood as it is high in antioxidants, helps boost digestion, and is really good for your skin. Acai bowls are simple to make and perfect for those summer mornings when you don’t feel like having anything too heavy for breakfast. I love topping my Acai bowls with all my favourite fruits along with toasted buckwheat granola to give it bit of a crunch. If you’re someone who needs a little extra protein in your life, try adding 1 scoop of Tropeaka protein into your bowl.

Avocado on toast with Tomato and Corn Salsa - Leah Itsines

Like most of us here in Australia, I seem to have a slight avocado obsession. You’ve probably all seen the news over the years about how millennials today are spending more and more of their wages on smashed avocado (lol - but seriously). Well, it is safe to say I am one of those millennials ha ha. I found this delicious and healthy avocado recipe a few months back and since then it has been my go to Sunday morning breaky.

Mango - Rita Green Smoothie - Cookie and Kate

If you follow me on Instagram you will know I love a good smoothie. I tend to have either a smoothie or a juice at least once a day, using a mixture of veggies and fruits. This smoothie is refreshing, luscious and full of goodness. I stick to using the frozen mango and pineapple and I often add in ½ tbsp of Tropeaka Ultra Cleanse power.

1,2,3 Porridge - Sami Bloom

Who else loves a bowl of warm porridge on a winters morning? This porridge recipe has been a favourite of mine and like Sami says, it is way better than any boxed cereal you buy from the supermarket. It is nutritious and simple, making it the perfect everyday breakfast that can be topped with all your favourite fruits.

Simple Pancakes With Blueberry Jam - Livia’s

Now I wouldn’t suggest you eat these pancakes everyday but they definitely make the perfect weekend brunch. I don’t often opt for the sweet options on a menu or when scrolling through recipes….But when I do I go ALL out! These pancakes are so simple yet delicious. I personally love sticking to the recipe and layering the pancakes with Livia’s blueberry jam, but these pancakes will taste just as good by adding any of your favourite toppings.
